senior citizens with R.O.C. nationality, without any infectious diseases or medium (serious) psychiatric diseases, and having one of the following conditions:

1. Care (nursing) sponsored by the government:
   1. Care: over the age of 65 and on the government low-income list , and able to take care of their own daily life.
   2. Nursing: over the age of 65 and on the government low-income list ,with insufficient self-care ability and without technical nursing service requirements.
2. Care at the expense of the seniors (long-term, short-term, daytime):
   1. Care: over the age of 60, and able to take care of their own daily life.
   2. Nursing: over the age of 60, with insufficient self-care ability and without technical nursing service requirements.
3. Respite care: referred by the Long-term Care Center in Hualien County.

1. Care (nursing) sponsored by the government:
   Certificate of low-income status, physical examination certificate (covering regular examination, psychiatric (dementia) appraisal, chest X-ray, Type B hepatitis, syphilis, AIDS, bacillus dysentery and amoebic dysentery), issued by a public or regional hospital, within the last three months, with one full household registration copy. Application is made by town (township, city, or district) offices under administrative procedures. After interviews by our people, qualified applicants will be notified of acceptance to the House.
2. Care at the expense of the seniors (long-term, short-term, daytime):
   Application form, physical examination certificate (covering regular examination, psychiatric (dementia) appraisal, chest X-ray, Type B hepatitis, syphilis, AIDS,? bacillus dysentery and amoebic dysentery), issued by a public or regional hospital, within the last three months, identification to be submitted to the Division of Social Work of the House. After interviews by our people, qualified applicants’ relatives will be notified of contract signing, payment, and procedures.

1. Care and nursing sponsored by the government: expenses are sponsored by the government (shared by the Home and the original referring local government)
2. Care at own expense (long- and short-term): NTD10,000/person/month or NTD400/person/day; guarantee money NTD20,000.
3. Care at own expense (daytime): NTD6,000/month/person or NTD300/person/day; guarantee money NTD12,000.
4. Care at own expense (long- and short-term): NTD18,600/person/month or NTD700/person/day; guarantee money NTD37,200.
5. Care at own expense (daytime): NTD11,000/person/month or NTD550/person/day;guarantee money NTD22,000.
